Ikhwezi Inc was established in the Eastern Cape or specifically Port Elizabeth, South Africa in March 2007. Delon le Roux, the owner and co-founder has worked extensively in the Fashion and Modeling industries for several years as well as Public Relations and Events for the past 3 years and is currently the company’s Creative Director, Events Manager and Choreographer.

The business functions primarily as an Events Management company however we have the capacity to plan weddings, pageants and fashion shows.

Jonginenge takes its name from the Xhosa term “Jonga umnenge”, which means, “Look at the whale”. Through eco-friendly outdoor experiential learning and adventure, we strive to engage locals from all backgrounds in fun outdoor activities, which foster appreciation of the environment and a positive attitude toward conservation. Jonginenge focuses on the status of our marine and coastal resources and the sustainable use thereof. Our activities incorporate the Outcomes of the Revised National Curriculum Statement (RNCS). We offer a selection of activities for learners of all ages suited to the curriculum requirements and covering various learning areas. Each grade does something different, so there is progression and the child can return each year and enjoy a new and unique experience. Learners involved in this project will develop an appreciation of natural resources and the entrepreneurial possibilities in the tourism industry, while having FUN and learning skills.
